MEMBER GROUP TOOLS AND EXPECTATIONS

Meetings

Interest Groups may meet in-person at ¾«¶«´«Ã½Conferences. Groups may also schedule virtual meetings at any time of year.

For in-person meetings at ¾«¶«´«Ã½conferences, the ODLOS staff liaison will contact the person currently listed as the interest group leader with the deadlines and procedures for requesting meeting space at the conference.

For virtual zoom meetings, contact the ODLOS staff liaison with your request including the date and time.

Conference Programming

Interest groups are invited to submit a program for consideration. These calls for proposals are typically announced in the summer with the deadline being August. These proposals are evaluated by a group with final decisions sent out every December. Interest groups may submit meeting information, News You Can Use sessions, discussion groups, and poster sessions at a later date directly to ODLOS staff.

Reporting

Interest group leaders are expected to submit two reports per year to ODLOS Advisory Committee chair. These reports are due at the time of each conference.
