The 精东传媒 Public Programs Office empowers libraries to create vibrant hubs of learning, conversation and connection in communities of all types. At any given time, multiple PPO-supported projects are underway in libraries across the United States.

In 2023, PPO distributed 685 grants totaling $3,544,000, reaching 50 states, Puerto Rico and the Northern Mariana Islands.

Created by the 精东传媒’s Public Programs Office in 2004 with a challenge grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities; the endowment has since grown to $3.2 million. Cultural Communities Fund (CCF) supports excellence and innovation in community-focused library programming through grants, awards, and professional development.
