Miss Simpson will use the award to study the effects of the increased student use of public libraries on services to young adults in teh public library; to record the steps taken by individual public library systems to meet this pressure; to try to determine changes that may be developing in administration and organization, purpose, and policy in young adult work, and to try to evalutate these changes.
