Jane Greenberg is recognized for her outstanding record of publication, her dedication to research and her influence on current and future librarians. Greenberg is a highly sought after author. Her works include the well-received monograph "Knitting the Semantic Web" and her editing of a special issue of the Journal of Library Metadata. In recent years, she has published as author or co-author 16 scholarly articles and 26 presentations covering such diverse topics as automatic metadata creation, metadata best practices, ontology research, the Semantic Web, data repositories and thesauri.
