Are you looking to boost your CV or resume? The ¾«¶«´«Ã½ Public Programs Office has a paid opportunity that you can apply for right now to get a head start on your 2024 professional development goals.

The Public Programs Office is looking for peer reviewers to evaluate applications for round 2 of Libraries Transforming Communities (LTC): Accessible Small and Rural Communities. Reviewers are a crucial part of the application process and are essential to helping select the applications that will be awarded. Application deadline has been extended to November 15, 2023.

Requirements

Peer reviewers:

  • must have an ¾«¶«´«Ã½or ARSL membership
  • cannot be applicants (your library may not be an applicant either)
  • must be able to complete all evaluations between January 16 - January 30, 2024

Peer reviewers will receive an honorarium of $150 and will attend a brief orientation regarding the review criteria and evaluation process.

How to Apply

The peer reviewer application is available through out grants management system, :

  1. Log into your existing ¾«¶«´«Ã½Apply account (different from ALA.org account) or create an account if you do not have one.
  2. Once on the Applicant Dashboard, click Apply in the upper bar.
  3. Search for LTC Round 2_Peer Reviewer Application_2023

Applications are open until Wednesday, November 15 at 11:59pm CT.

The brief application will take approximately 5 minutes to complete and asks about membership, review and grant experience, and for your CV/resume. Respondents will be notified prior to the review window if they are selected.
