CHICAGO–Join Core on February 7, 2023, at 1 p.m. CT for the webinar “Best of Core Forum: A Roadmap for Evidence-Based Strategic Planning.” The purpose of strategic planning is to create a plan for an organization to move forward. It clarifies the mission and vision, and names the priorities to inform resource allocation. This webinar is grounded in the premise that the most valuable strategic plans are rooted in evidence intentionally gathered by listening to diverse voices across a library, its institution, and the broader environment. This interactive session will describe the evidence-based strategic planning process at two academic libraries, including an overview of tools and strategies. Through this process, participants will develop the structure to help them jumpstart the evidence-based strategic planning at their own library.

This webinar was previously presented in-person as a session at the 2022 Core Forum. We are hosting this webinar, with the session adapted and presented live as a virtual event, to extend its reach.
