¾«¶«´«Ã½

CHICAGO — Call Number with American Libraries, the podcast of American Libraries magazine, is back from hiatus with its first new episode of 2022.

Episode 70, marks the podcast’s six-year anniversary and the debut of its host, American Libraries Associate Editor Diana Panuncial. In this episode, released April 18, the podcast team covers topics related to Financial Literacy Month and Money Smart Week (April 9–16). Interviews with library workers address big questions around money: How do we raise it? How can we save it? And how do we spend it responsibly?

Panuncial, a former editorial intern and freelance contributor for American Libraries, recently returned to the magazine. She previously worked as a business reporter at The Journal Times in Racine, Wisconsin, and an education reporter and copy editor at The Columbia Missourian.

“I’m very excited about making a full circle back to where my real-world journalism career began,” Panuncial says. “I’m grateful to be part of a wonderful team of people working together to tell important stories from the library world. I hope Call Number listeners enjoy the new set of episodes we’re planning.”

Upcoming content will include an episode on mental health in May and an episode on Washington, D.C., in anticipation of the ¾«¶«´«Ã½’s Annual Conference and Exhibition, in June. For more Call Number episodes, visit bit.ly/CallNumberPodcast.
