CHICAGO—Join Core: Leadership, Infrastructure, Futures on Wednesday, May 19 for the webinar "Building Teams that Work", and gain insight into how to create teams that are successful, effective, purposeful and resilient. During this webinar, attendees will learn how to broadly consider how they define teams within their libraries and will be introduced to the factors that make teams strong and effective. In addition, attendees will be given the tools needed to support trust and vulnerability among team members, communicate effectively to reach team consensus, and recognize and celebrate team successes and failures. At the end of this webinar, attendees will be able to identify the characteristics of successful teams; articulate the positive impacts of a strengths-focused approach to managing teams and collaborations; and apply communication, consensus and recognition strategies to support effective team engagement.
