Core Webinar: Accessibility & Inclusive Design to Enable Success

¾«¶«´«Ã½

CHICAGO—So much of the library information and service we provide is online, and making our digital content accessible helps everyone in our community succeed. Following accessibility best practices not only improves the library experience, it also promotes diversity and inclusion by improving the equity of access for all library users. On Wednesday, March 24, Core invites all library employees involved in creating digital library content such as documents, web content, LibGuides, and PR materials to attend the webinar "Accessibility & Inclusive Design to Enable Success". Learn some simple, inclusive-design guidelines for creating accessible digital content for your website, LibGuides, Word docs, PDFs, and more. Finally, leave with tools and actionable tips for how to help make your library services and digital content more accessible and inclusive.

At the end of this webinar, attendees will be able to understand how accessibility best practices benefit everyone, utilize accessibility and inclusive design best practices when creating new digital content, and share tools and advocate for how to make library services and content more accessible and inclusive for all.
