Focusing on the challenges and opportunities in working with metadata for unusual types of content, “” will explore the creation, management, and preservation of metadata. This webinar is one of the first from the new ¾«¶«´«Ã½ (ALA) division , and will be presented on Wednesday, September 23, at 1:00 pm, CT.

During this webinar, participants will learn strategies and methods for metadata curation and discovery for new and unique resource types. In addition, the presentations will provide attendees with real-life examples of metadata for uncommon types of content and will show them how to employ strategies and methods for long-term preservation and access of metadata for rare types of materials. Upon completion, participants will be able to apply this knowledge in their own future work.
