New workshop: Transferring Your Skills as a Librarian to Any Profession

¾«¶«´«Ã½

CHICAGO—¾«¶«´«Ã½Publishing eLearning Solutions announces an exciting new workshop in collaboration with the Music Library Association, with Michelle Hahn. This workshop will last 90 minutes and take place at 2:30pm Eastern/1:30 Central/12:30 Mountain/11:30am Pacific on Wednesday, March 27, 2019.

The skills you learn in library school are valuable in a huge variety of professional settings. These "transferable skills" are part of a library degree, but they make us desirable candidates for jobs in a variety of different fields. If you are wondering which skills transfer and how, this event is for you.

This workshop will bridge that gap between the skills we gained as undergraduates, the skills we develop as graduates, the observations we have made in our experiences, and the needs we encounter in our careers. Examples and guidance will center around music and music libraries but will be applicable to any type of library and may easily transfer to professionals in any field.
