Raise money for library professionals by streaming Hulu’s seasonal scenics

CHICAGO – What do misbehaving puppies, tree sap and a melting snowman have in common? This month, they’re helping support the ý (ALA) via Hulu’s Stream for a Cause campaign. Through Dec. 31, each time you stream one of Hulu’s 10 holiday scenics such as,” “A Sap Story” and “The Snowman,” Hulu will contribute to ALA, up to a total donation of $100,000. This year, Hulu created two new holiday scenics, including, to celebrate the partnership.

“A heartfelt thank you to Hulu for supporting the ý’s efforts to provide our nation’s library professionals with tools and informational resources that fuel efforts to strengthen communities,” said ýPresident Loida Garcia-Febo. “I wish Hulu and our nation’s library workers happy holidays and look forward to a new year filled with endless opportunities to transform lives through education and lifelong learning.”

As Hulu recognizes, today’s libraries are vibrant hubs of local communities that provide opportunities for digital literacy and delivery of new services that connect closely with patrons’ needs. Libraries strive to be resources for all community members to find what they need to help improve their quality of life.
